After performing in Hamlet, I was given the opportunity to perform in Titan Theatre Company Shakespeare on Demand Touring production: Love's Labour's' Lost as Princess of France. I'm really grateful for the opportunity, but definitely see it as a challenge. It's a lead role and I'm sorta nervous about it. I know I have a great director who I can trust and talented cast mates who will help me along the way, but it's still a lot to process. I tell myself to take it one day at a time and not be hard on myself, but you know...
I want to rise up and do a good job. Prove to myself that I can do this. I can be a leading lady. No one is stopping me, but me. It's gonna happen. I trust that I am learning and growing from this and it's only making me a better actor. It's also a good reminder to know that I am not competing with anyone but me. I'm in my own lane and that's ok.
